Does anyone know the size of the ampules that nurses/nurse-aids (whatever) administer for hospital/ER use?

I know online site research shows 1mg, 2mg and and 4mg vials of Dilaudid are in existence.

But on several occasions of hospitalization, I noticed nurses would extract the 2mg I was being administered from larger vials of Dilaudid. Does anyone know the highest amount you can get (obviously for hospital) in a single vial?

I can't imagine they're all single-use vials right? And in that same vein (no pun intended) what would it take to get one of these largest vials (aside from breaking into a hospital or knowing a corundum doc/nurse?)

It's a question. I'm trying to get my hands on the larger vial/ampules which Nurses extract 1,2 and 4mg dilaudid injections from in hopsitals/Ers.

Product Requests is fine. I can't believe with all these people here, not ONE can find us a doc/nurse/hospital man/woman LOL
